Wallmountables is one of DC’s largest community art exhibitions and The DC Arts Center’s annual fundraiser! One great way to participate and support the arts center is by becoming an Artist Member.

During WallMountables, anyone can purchase as many 2’ x 2’ squares on our gallery wall as they’d like and display whatever artwork they want! While simply showing your work is exciting enough, there's always the chance that your work sells, too! Artists keep 100% of all proceeds when their work sells.

WallMountables opens on July 12, 2024, with a celebration starting at 7:00 PM. The exhibition will close on August 11, 2024, with a reception starting at 6:00 PM.

Anyone is welcome to join the exhibition at any time — even following the opening celebration.

Installation takes place by appointment. Deinstall takes place immediately following the closing reception on August 11, 2024.

Also, since we’re no longer taking a commission, artists are encouraged to include the cost of participation in the pricing of their art, which would also make it essentially free to participate!

Of course, you can purchase squares à la carte. Each 2’ x 2’ square sells for between $30 and $60 per square based on wall location. Hurry! All squares are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis using the registration process below. There is no limit to the number of spaces one can purchase. Payment processing fees will be included with your order.

Squares at eye level or in premium featured spaces throughout the gallery are $50 - $60. Those that are above or below eye level are priced at $30.

Yes! Our galleries have been completely renovated! You now have access to showcase your work in a brand new gorgeous facility!

First, celebrate! You’re keeping 100% of the profits from the art sold! We’ll handle all payment processing on your behalf through our online store. We’ll ensure the interested buyer submits their payment electronically and then mark the work as sold on the wall. From there, once WallMountables closes, we’ll handle pickup or delivery with the buyer directly.

We’ll then send your payment electronically or via check minus any payment processing fees within one week of the event closing.

Installation can take place anytime our gallery is open from July 5, 2024, until the exhibition closes on August 11, 2024. Remember, artists are responsible for their own installation and bringing all hardware and tools that may be needed. We also ask you to avoid using anything that could leave a sticky residue on the wall.

Yes! Some of our walls have plugs at the base of the wall — but some do not. Be sure to review the floor plan of each wall below before making your final square selections. If you are interested in using electricity for your installation, we recommend purchasing a square as close to the base of the wall as possible.

Within reason, sure! We would just recommend purchasing a square at or above eye level to ensure everyone’s safety —including your work’s!

Yes! While we’ll continue to embrace our online store and digital efforts, there will also be physical labels on the walls.

Yes! We’d love to have you. Simply use the same registration system and purchase the square(s) of interest to you. Then, be sure to email us at info@dcartscenter.org to schedule an installation time.
